Today, more than ever, we must be diligent in our oversight of the Congress and Senate for bills that could affect our rights as gun owners. To this end, I have listed two places you can go to check out the latest news and or to "bust" the myths that often arise (such as SB 2099 that reportedly had you listing your firearms on your 1040....not).

Check out Gun Owners of America for the latest news regarding your Second Amendment rights and other rights you have under the Constitution.

Over fifty Democrats in Congress claim to be pro-gun, but can any member who votes to retain Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House really be considered a defender of the Second Amendment?

Most of the Blue Dog members voted with Pelosi as she crammed the anti-gun ObamaCare bill down the throats of the American people. Most voted against protecting gun rights in national parks. And, not surprisingly given their anti-gun voting records, they stood with Pelosi to silence groups like GOA by supporting the so-called DISCLOSE Act.
